About the Artist

Hello! Welcome to Sunflower Creative Arts Studio. I am an art educator and professional artist with a passion for all things art related. My experiences include teaching painting/drawing, photography, graphic design, sewing, sculpture, and art history to all ages.

My goal with each student is to not only teach them how to improve their skill and knowledge, but how to think creatively and reflect themselves in their artwork.

I am also a professional artist; frequently showing work in exhibits and working on various painting and graphic design commissions. I feel that in order to be a successful and current art educator, it is important to constantly be working as a professional artist in the field and to bring that knowledge and experience into the classroom.
